Here’s our story and why we do what we do.
Our Story
The team that set up Powered By AI also runs Exposure Ninja, the digital marketing agency. While running the agency, we witnessed the transformative potential of AI — as a source of greater efficiency and output but also as a disruptive threat that would cause fundamental changes in many industries.
We embraced AI tools and found the team loved using them; they increased our output quality in a range of tasks, and we could see how they would lead to better client return on investment. But when we spoke to our agency clients about this incredible technology, we realised their level of awareness was generally low.
Having seen the disruption the move to digital wreaked on “traditional” marketing back in the 2010s, we became concerned that businesses that didn’t explore AI willingly might face a similar fate. So we took it upon ourselves to share what we had been learning, testing and implementing for ourselves with other businesses and Powered By AI was born.
We also recognised how fast the world of AI was moving and heard business leaders’ frustration that they just couldn’t keep up with all the new tools, technologies and regulatory news. And, besides, what was the point of “trying to keep up” if it was all going to change again next week?
That’s why we started the newsletter and our “This Week in AI” videos, so we could give business leaders a single place to make sure they were up-to-date with not only the news but insights into what the changes meant for them and what they needed to be doing in response.
